This backyard patio garden renovation in Fitzroy started with bare concrete. It bloomed with colour and fragrance once the new garden design was complete.

A patio louvre roof was installed to provide shade, and a kowhai tree planted for overhead softness. This created a sense of shelter and sanctuary. Plants were chosen for ease of maintenance, texture and colour.

Finally, a custom decorative lighting scheme was installed along the fences, creating a colour show at night. The photos show some changes as the garden matured.
